Since some idiot took it upon himself to "teach" a guildmate of mine on how to "sell" pet food (on the auction house for 2k): is basic math really that kind of a forgotten art?! Let's run the numbers here. A star costs 500 cr, two 5* materials and 25 minerals to craft. When you sell something on the auction house, there is a 10% fee (if you don't, there's even a penalty)...

Logged in, went to Haven, saw the event decoration. Since there was no patch, it is probably save to assume that the event is the same as last time with no added or changed bits. In which case my old guide should still apply.

Most vanguards will know this one: do 10 firestorm runs, exchange the boss tokens for a piece of ancient armor and pawn that off to any NPC in the bazar. Easy, straight forward and takes about the better part of the entire afternoon to pull it off. Are there faster alternatives? Sure! Given that....

UPDATE: This post is now obsolete. Sprites pods have been patched to include their type in their name. So, we are recoloring sprites now? I got a problem with that! No, it's not that it's yet another reskin promo, but the fact that I'm having a hard time telling the reskins apart! I'm not an artist, I don't have perfect color vision/memory and I'm pretty sure, I'm not the only one with this problem...

Speed is king this time. If you want a Book of Dark Rituals, you are looking at farming about 4k levels within 2 weeks. Not an easy (or pleasant) task, so you'll want to focus on visiting as many kats in as little time as possible...
