Tweak: Removing the window border

Do you play windowed or fullscreen? I prefer windowed since I have a 16:9 monitor. I don’t like how the visuals stretch in fullscreen mode and I also find it easier to keep an eye on everything if the viewport is only 1024×768 pixels in size. However, windowed play has one big disadvantage: in the heat of battle, you are prone to accidentally grabbing the window by the border and dragging it around the desktop, resulting in getting your butt kicked.

Luckily, there is a fix for that. SK builds on top of LWJGL and LWJGL allows you to remove window decorations. To do this, locate the file extras.txt in your game folder (create it if it doesn’t exist) and add the following line:

     -Dorg.lwjgl.opengl.Window.undecorated=true

Restart the game and the borders are gone. If you want to actually move the window, you can right click its entry in the taskbar (different operation systems offer different solutions here).
