Hey guys, didn't really have a lot of time lately for Spiral Knights and I still have this giant list of Redeem Codes lying around that OOO was kind enough to provide for an in-game user event that sadly never happened (a scavenger hunt - I don't want to go into details for why it went belly up). In this event, you'd be assigned tasks and upon completion be given a redeem code for claiming your reward...

It's Winterfest again and this time we got two new event boxes available from Randolph. To get them, hunt for "Frozen Winter Winterfest Wishlist" Tokens in the Arcade. This is more or less the same as Punkin hunting: look for refurbished danger rooms in the Clockwork Tunnel type levels. Once you find one, you'll be given a choice between two random arena rooms...

Things I hate: standing in Haven (or running with randoms) and suddenly *wuuurb*, a yellow star on my mailbox requires my attention. Another friend request, from another dipshit who apparently spends too much time on Facebook and wants to cuddle the world. I just mark the thing as read. That at least prevents the asshole from sending another in case I ignored the first one by accident (gosh, I hate those numbnuts who want to force their "friendship" on you)...

Logged in, went to Haven, saw the event decoration. Since there was no patch, it is probably save to assume that the event is the same as last time with no added or changed bits. In which case my old guide should still apply.

Most vanguards will know this one: do 10 firestorm runs, exchange the boss tokens for a piece of ancient armor and pawn that off to any NPC in the bazar. Easy, straight forward and takes about the better part of the entire afternoon to pull it off. Are there faster alternatives? Sure! Given that....
